And her current costume is evocative of her original outfit, including the hood. Somebody who has to worry about bare-skin contact with other people would naturally tend to favor garb such as this.

But she doesn’t have to worry about bare-skin contact so much anymore?

I mean, unless I’m mistaken (I haven’t been able to read a comic for the last couple years because of finances), she gained control over her abilities. Granted, she still favored long sleeves and gloves and all because she was so used to it. But it’s not really a main concern anymore?
